Every day the nuns at Khachoe Ghakyil Ling Nunnery and Yulo Koepa Nunnery in Sarnath, India perform prayers and pujas for the well-being of all sentient beings, for the sick and dying, for those who have passed away, and for those who experience problems in their lives.

Some of these pujas are open for sponsorship at US $100 per year. You can sponsor one of these pujas for yourself, your business, for your family, friends, or business partners. The puja will be performed monthly or daily, depending on the type you selected.

If you are looking for a gift for someone, a Gift of Prayer is truly something special. You can give the puja anonymously, or we will inform the recipient if you wish. Whether for yourself or others, please let us know the purpose of the prayers in the text box provided on the ordering form. Once we have received your Gift of Prayer request, we will send you a thank you message by email, and confirm the puja with a letter and a card of the deity you have chosen for your puja. We will also send a letter to the beneficiary if this is indicated on the sponsorship form.

The puja is usually started on an auspicious day of the Tibetan month and is then performed every month (or day - depending on what type of puja you selected).

All offerings received through the pujas are used to support the nuns. As an expression of their gratitude the nuns additionally recite the 21 Tara Praises every day for the long life and health of their benefactors.
